Every 40 to 60 days, Kingshot players get a rare opportunity: the chance to move their entire account to a different Kingdom. Whether you're looking for a more active server, a better alliance, or simply a fresh start, the Kingdom Transfer event is your ticket to a new adventure.

But here's the thing, transferring isn't as simple as clicking a button. There are power caps, transfer passes, invitation phases, and consequences you need to understand before making the move. Get it wrong, and you might waste resources, lose progress, or miss your chance entirely.

This guide covers everything you need to know about Kingdom Transfer events, from the three-phase structure to what happens after you transfer. By the end, you'll know exactly how to prepare, when to act, and what to expect.

What Is the Kingdom Transfer Event?

The Kingdom Transfer event is a limited-time opportunity that lets you move your account from your current Kingdom (server) to a different one. Think of it as a server migration system that runs periodically throughout the year.

The event doesn't happen on a fixed schedule. Instead, it appears every 40 to 60 days, and not all servers get it at the same time. The first Kingdom Transfer event launched on September 14, 2025, and initially covered Kingdoms 1 through 175. Future events roll out in batches, so your server might get it weeks before or after others.

Why Transfer?

Players transfer for various reasons:

  • Better Activity: Your current Kingdom feels dead, and you want to join a more active server
  • Language Preference: You want to play with people who speak your language
  • Alliance Opportunities: You're looking for a stronger alliance or better coordination
  • Fresh Start: You want to escape drama or start over in a new environment
  • Power Balance: Your current Kingdom is too competitive (or not competitive enough)

Whatever your reason, the Kingdom Transfer event gives you a controlled way to make the move.

Understanding Kingdom Types

Before we dive into the transfer process, you need to understand how Kingdoms are categorized during the event.

Leading Kingdoms

Leading Kingdoms are the strongest servers based on their Kingdom Transfer Score. This score is calculated from the combined Transfer Scores of the top 100 most active players in that Kingdom.

Leading Kingdoms have a special "Leading" tag in the Kingdom list, and they can accept up to 30 players total during each transfer event.

Ordinary Kingdoms

All other Kingdoms fall into this category. They can accept 55 players through normal transfers plus 3 special invites, for a total of 58 players.

The distinction matters because:

  • Leading Kingdoms are more competitive and may have stricter power caps
  • Ordinary Kingdoms have more slots available (58 vs 30)
  • Special invites (only available to Ordinary Kingdoms) let high-power players bypass power caps

The Three Phases of Kingdom Transfer

The Kingdom Transfer event runs for 7 days total, split into three distinct phases. Each phase serves a different purpose, and understanding the timeline is crucial for planning your transfer.

Phase 1: Pre-Transfer Phase (3 Days: Sunday to Tuesday)

This phase is primarily for preparation and planning. Transfers don't actually happen yet, but this is when the groundwork gets laid.

What Kings Do:

  • Set a transfer power cap to control who can join their Kingdom
  • If your Kingdom doesn't have a current King (e.g., they lost the last Kingdom of Power event), the previous King handles these duties
  • Advertise their Kingdom and look for suitable players to invite

What Players Do:

  • Explore available Kingdoms in the Kingdom List
  • Check power caps, activity levels, and language preferences
  • Join the transfer chat to communicate with Kings and other players
  • Research which Kingdom would be the best fit

Key Point: This is your research phase. Don't rush. Take time to find a Kingdom that matches your playstyle, language, and activity level.

Phase 2: Invitational Transfer Phase (2 Days: Wednesday to Thursday)

This is when transfers actually begin, but only for invited players.

Leading Kingdoms:

  • Can invite up to 20 players during this phase
  • The remaining 10 slots are reserved for the Open Transfer phase

Ordinary Kingdoms:

  • Can invite up to 35 players with normal invites
  • Can invite up to 3 additional players with special invites (total of 38 during this phase)

Special Invites Explained:

Special invites are exclusive to Ordinary Kingdoms and serve one purpose: allowing players who exceed the Kingdom's power cap to join anyway.

Here's how it works:

  • Each Ordinary Kingdom starts with 3 special invites
  • When you use a special invite on a player above your power cap, one invite is deducted
  • Once all 3 are used, you get 1 new special invite every month on the 1st at 0:00 UTC
  • The maximum you can hold is 3 special invites

Important Notes:

  • Transfer Managers can send unlimited invites, but once the cap is reached (20 for Leading, 35+3 for Ordinary), additional invites expire
  • Even with an invite, you still need enough Transfer Passes (we'll cover this next)
  • If you want to secure a spot, contact a Transfer Manager or King during this phase, don't wait for Open Transfer

What Happens When You Accept:

  • You're immediately moved to a random location in the target Kingdom's Badland area
  • You receive a 24-hour shield to protect you during the transition

Phase 3: Open Transfer Phase (2 Days: Friday to Saturday)

This is the final chance to transfer, and it works on a first-come, first-served basis.

Available Slots:

  • Leading Kingdoms: 10 slots remaining
  • Ordinary Kingdoms: 20 slots remaining

The Reality:

  • These slots fill up fast, often within minutes of the phase opening at 0:00 UTC on Friday
  • If you want a spot, you need to be ready and active right when the phase starts
  • You still need Transfer Passes, but typically fewer than 10 for free-to-play players

Strategy Tip: If you're serious about transferring, don't rely on Open Transfer. Use the Invitational phase to secure your spot instead.

Transfer Passes: What You Need to Know

Transfer Passes are the currency of Kingdom Transfer. Without them, you can't transfer, period.

How Many Passes Do You Need?

The number of Transfer Passes required depends on two factors:

  1. Your Power Level: Higher Power = more passes needed
  2. Target Kingdom's Rating: Leading Kingdoms may require more passes than Ordinary Kingdoms

The Range:

  • Minimum: 1 Transfer Pass
  • Maximum: 50 Transfer Passes
  • Typical F2P players: 1-10 passes
  • High-power players: 10-50 passes

The exact number is calculated automatically by the game and displayed during the event. You can't negotiate or change it. It's based on your account's Power and the target Kingdom's status.

How to Get Transfer Passes

You have three main options:

1. Alliance Shop (Free Option)

  • Purchase 1 Transfer Pass per week
  • Cost: 150,000 Alliance Coins
  • This is the only free way to get passes, so start saving early if you plan to transfer

2. Transfer Pass Packs (Paid Option)

During the Kingdom Transfer event, special packs become available in the shop. These packs must be purchased in order:

  • 1 Transfer Pass for $5 (1 available)
  • 2 Transfer Passes for $10 (1 available)
  • 3 Transfer Passes for $20 (1 available)
  • 4 Transfer Passes for $50 (1 available)
  • 5 Transfer Passes for $100 (15 available)

Important: You must buy each pack at least once to unlock the next tier. The $100 pack can be purchased up to 15 times.

3. Monthly Availability

  • A total of 85 Transfer Passes are available for purchase each month
  • Packs reset monthly, so timing your purchases before the reset can save money

Pro Tip: If you're planning to transfer, start collecting passes early. Use the Alliance Shop weekly, and consider buying packs before the event starts to ensure you have enough when the time comes.

Calculating Your Transfer Pass Needs

If you want to plan ahead and calculate exactly how much you'll spend on Transfer Passes, you can use our Transfer Pass Calculator. Simply enter your current pass count and the number you need, and it will show you the optimal pack combination to minimize your cost.

Transfer Requirements and Restrictions

Before you can transfer, you must meet several requirements:

Basic Requirements

  1. Power Cap: Your Power must not exceed the target Kingdom's transfer power cap (unless you have a special invite)
  2. Town Center Level: Must be at the required level (depends on the Kingdom's age; first event required level 25)
  3. No Active Battles: You cannot be in an active battle when transferring
  4. Leave Alliance: You must leave your current alliance before transferring
  5. Not King or Transfer Manager: You cannot transfer if you're currently a King or Transfer Manager
  6. Cooldown Period: At least 25 days must have passed since your last transfer
  7. Character Limit: You cannot have 4 characters already in the target Kingdom
  8. Generation Match: Both Kingdoms must be in the same generation with similar features unlocked
  9. Transfer Passes: You need enough passes to cover the cost (1-50 depending on Power)

The 25-Day Cooldown

This is crucial: once you transfer, you must wait at least 25 days before you can transfer again. This prevents players from constantly jumping between servers and maintains stability.

Plan accordingly. If you transfer and realize you made a mistake, you're stuck for 25 days minimum.

What Happens After You Transfer?

Transferring to a new Kingdom has significant consequences. Some features reset, some progress carries over, and some things are lost entirely. Here's the complete breakdown:

Immediate Changes

  • Your town is randomly teleported to a new location in the target Kingdom's Badland area
  • You receive a 24-hour shield for protection

Group Chats:

  • You are automatically removed from all active group chats
  • Friends and private chats are preserved

Resets and Deletions

The Arena:

  • Your Arena Points reset to 1,000
  • Your rank is cleared

Armament Competition & Officer Project:

  • Personal Milestone Rewards are issued
  • Your ranking data is deleted
  • You can participate in new events in your new Kingdom if available

Hero Rally:

  • Your participation is discontinued
  • If you purchased a Pass: all unclaimed rewards are reissued
  • If you didn't purchase a Pass: only unclaimed rewards from completed tiers are reissued

Age of Renewal:

  • Your participation immediately ceases
  • Unclaimed rewards are sent to your mail

Fishing Tournament:

  • Your involvement immediately ceases
  • If you purchased a Pass: all unclaimed rewards are reissued
  • If you didn't purchase a Pass: only unclaimed rewards from completed tiers are reissued
  • If the Master Fisher Leaderboard tally is ongoing, you'll receive ranking rewards based on your rank in the previous Kingdom

Events That May Carry Over

Some events can carry over if they're active in both Kingdoms:

Call of the Sovereign:

  • If active in both Kingdoms: progress (missions, points, rewards) carries over
  • If not active in new Kingdom: event terminates, unclaimed rewards are mailed

  • If active in both Kingdoms: progress (pack content, purchase status, rewards) carries over
  • If not active in new Kingdom: event terminates, unclaimed rewards are mailed

  • If active in both Kingdoms: progress (Dice count, tile position, level, rewards) carries over
  • If not active in new Kingdom: event terminates, unclaimed rewards are mailed
  • Important: All Common Dice, Golden Dice, and Adventure Coins are recycled

Other Consequences

Packs:

  • Purchase limits for the Top-up Center and event packs are reset
  • This means you can buy packs again that you've already purchased

Resources:

  • Any resources exceeding your Storehouse protection threshold are discarded
  • Secured Resources and unopened resource items are preserved

Kingdom Information:

  • After a successful transfer, other players can only see your current Kingdom
  • Your previous Kingdom is not displayed

Chat History:

  • Friends and private chats are preserved
  • All Chat Groups are removed

Tracking Transfer Events

One of the most valuable resources for planning your transfer is historical data. Understanding past transfer events helps you make informed decisions about when and where to transfer.

Using the Transfer History Tool

Our Transfer History tool provides a complete archive of all past Kingdom Transfer events. For each event, you can see:

  • Event Dates: When each transfer event started and ended
  • Kingdom Groups: How Kingdoms were grouped together (e.g., Kingdoms 1-6, 7-115, etc.)
  • Power Caps: Historical power cap thresholds for both Normal and Leading Kingdoms
  • Leading Kingdoms: Which specific Kingdoms were designated as Leading in each event
  • Kingdom Progress Requirements: What progression level each group required (e.g., "Truegold 8", "Gen 5 Heroes/Pets")

Why This Matters

By reviewing transfer history, you can:

  • Predict Power Caps: See how power caps have changed over time for your Kingdom's group. This helps you estimate whether you'll meet the cap in future events.
  • Identify Leading Kingdom Patterns: Some Kingdoms consistently become Leading Kingdoms. If you're targeting a competitive server, historical data shows which ones tend to be strongest.
  • Plan Timing: Understanding event frequency and timing helps you prepare in advance. If events typically happen every 40-60 days, you can start saving Transfer Passes accordingly.
  • Understand Group Evolution: Kingdom groupings change over time as servers progress. Seeing how your Kingdom's group has evolved helps you understand where you fit in the overall server landscape.

How to Use It

  1. Visit the Transfer History page
  2. Browse events by year to see the complete timeline
  3. Click on any event to view detailed information about Kingdom groups, power caps, and Leading Kingdoms
  4. Compare events to identify trends and patterns
  5. Use this data to inform your transfer strategy

Transfer Strategies and Best Practices

Now that you understand how the system works and how to track historical data, here are some strategies to make the most of your transfer:

Before the Event Starts

  1. Review Transfer History: Check our Transfer History tool to understand past events and predict what to expect. This historical context helps you make better decisions.

  1. Save Transfer Passes Early: Start collecting from the Alliance Shop weeks in advance. If you need 10+ passes, consider buying packs before the event.

  1. Research Kingdoms: Use the Pre-Transfer phase to thoroughly research available Kingdoms. Check:
  • Power caps
  • Activity levels
  • Language preferences
  • Alliance strength
  • Kingdom chat activity

  1. Calculate Costs: Use the Transfer Pass Calculator to determine exactly how much you'll spend on passes.

  1. Prepare Your Account:
  • Leave your alliance before the event starts
  • Complete any active battles
  • Claim all event rewards you want to keep
  • Secure resources within your Storehouse protection limit

During the Invitational Phase

  1. Contact Kings Early: Don't wait. Reach out to Transfer Managers or Kings as soon as the Invitational phase begins.

  1. Have Your Passes Ready: Make sure you have enough Transfer Passes before accepting an invite. You don't want to lose your spot because you're short on passes.

  1. Ask Questions: Before accepting, ask about:
  • Alliance opportunities
  • Kingdom activity levels
  • Language preferences
  • Power distribution

During the Open Transfer Phase

  1. Be Ready at 0:00 UTC: Slots fill up fast. Have the game open and be ready to transfer the moment the phase opens.

  1. Have a Backup Plan: If your first choice fills up, know which other Kingdoms you'd be willing to join.

  1. Don't Panic: If you miss this event, another one will come in 40-60 days. It's better to wait than to rush into a bad decision.

After Transferring

  1. Use Your Shield: You get 24 hours of protection. Use this time to:
  • Find a new alliance
  • Scout your new location
  • Understand the Kingdom's dynamics

  1. Join an Alliance Quickly: Being in an alliance provides protection and resources. Don't stay solo for long.

  1. Adapt to Your New Environment: Every Kingdom has different dynamics. Take time to understand the power structure, active alliances, and community culture.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  1. Transferring Without Research: Don't pick a Kingdom at random. Research activity, language, and alliance opportunities first.

  1. Not Having Enough Passes: Calculate your needs in advance. Running short on passes means losing your transfer opportunity.

  1. Ignoring Power Caps: Unless you have a special invite, you can't transfer if you exceed the power cap. Check this before planning your transfer.

  1. Forgetting the Cooldown: Once you transfer, you're locked in for 25 days. Make sure you're committed to the move.

  1. Not Leaving Your Alliance: You must leave your alliance before transferring. Do this during the Pre-Transfer phase to avoid delays.

  1. Losing Resources: Resources above your Storehouse protection are lost. Secure or use excess resources before transferring.

  1. Missing Event Rewards: Some events terminate when you transfer. Claim all important rewards before making the move.
